MILWAUKEE, WI – (January 10, 2012) The 2012 Greater Milwaukee Auto Show drives automotive exhilaration into the Frontier Airlines Center, Saturday, February 25 through Sunday, March 4, showcasing hundreds of the latest cars, crossovers, trucks and more. From pre-production models and the latest alternative fuel vehicles to the Harley-Davidson Museum and popular TV and movie cars, this automotive extravaganza offers something for everyone. Whether it’s families, singles, students, car fanatics or consumers in the market for a new car, the Greater Milwaukee Auto Show presents a great opportunity to see the latest and greatest advancements the industry has to offer.

Attendees are invited to check out all the latest vehicles in a fun, non-selling environment; sit behind the wheels, inspect engines, learn about new fuel and audio technologies and safety features. Navigate the auto show floor and check out the latest vehicles that have earned membership in the 40+ MPG Club, alongside electric-powered vehicles, including the plug-in electric Chevrolet Volt and the Nissan LEAF™. Some of the hottest pre-production models will also be featured, including the 2013 Ford Escape, the 2013 Cadillac ATS, the 2013 Subaru BRZ and many more. Or, reminisce with a display of vintage vehicles ranging from the 1900s to the 1970s, chosen from Milwaukee’s finest Classic car event, The Milwaukee Masterpiece. Visitors can also get an up-close look at some of the most iconic cars in cinema history, courtesy of the Volo Auto Museum, or take a trip back in time with a unique display of rare antique gas pumps and auto related memorabilia dating from the early 1900’s through the 1960’s.

Showgoers are invited to hop behind the wheel of the latest models from Chevrolet, Buick and GMC at the Experience the Drive Event. More than 30 new model vehicles will be available for test drives from the following manufacturers: Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Subaru, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, Ram and FIAT. Standing more than eight feet high, the Comic-Bot, King Robota, will entertain showgoers with his quick wit, dancing and musical talents on Saturday, March 3 with performances between 12 noon and 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 4 between 12 noon and 5 p.m. All of that, coupled with an exotic vehicle collection and a Hot Rod display featuring some of the coolest cars around, and it quickly becomes apparent that the 2012 Greater Milwaukee Auto Show truly is the place to be.

The Greater Milwaukee Auto Show is presented by the Automobile Dealers Association of Mega Milwaukee, sponsored by CarSoup.com and produced by Motor Trend Auto Shows, LLC, the nation’s largest auto show producer and part of the Source Interlink Companies, Inc. Show hours are Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sundays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday - Thursday 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens (62 and older) weekdays only, $8 for students (21 and under with ID), and $5 for children ages 7-12. Children six and younger are admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult and all children 12 and under are admitted for free on Kids Day on March 4.
