Car Show Calender

          The calendar is about to flip to June, and when it does warm weather likely will be here for good. With the summer season comes a variety of vintage car shows, where collectors can show off their rides and spectators can walk around, oohh and ahh, reminisce and ask questions.

​          Dealer-sponsored shows are planned most weekends in the metro area. Many are annual favorites, some are new. Interested? Here is a list of the shows currently being planned that are sponsored by ADAMM friends and member dealerships. This list will update as shows are added or canceled throughout the summer.

Saturday, May 31 – MATC Campus Car Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Oak Creek Campus, 6665 S. Howell Ave., Oak Creek, featuring all makes and models, a D.J. and food trucks. Free for spectators. For information: [email protected]. www.matccarshow.com

Sunday, June 1 – Badger State Vettes 42nd Annual All-Corvette Show at Heiser Chevrolet, 10200 W. Arthur Ave., West Allis, with registration starting at 8 a.m. (Pre-registration ends May 24, with $5 off the day-of-show registration of $25.) Food, drinks, prizes, drawings and more are offered. Sunday, June 1 – Kunes Ford Delavan Car Show from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Kunes Ford, 1234 E. Geneva St., Delavan. This all makes and models show is free and will feature food trucks and vendors. For information check out  the Kunes Ford Delavan Facebook page or call (262) 728-5544.

Saturday, June 14 – Schlossmann Honda City’s Cars & Coffee MKE will be held from 8 to 10:30 a.m. at the dealership, 3450 S. 108th St., Greenfield. All vehicles and enthusiasts are welcome at this show, which is free to all. For information, contact Tracy at (414) 328-3500, www.hondacity.net/cars-and-coffee-car-show-in-milwaukee. This event will be held each month. Future dates are July 12, Aug. 9, Sept. 13 and Oct. 11.

Sunday, June 15 – Annual British Car Field Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Sussex Village Park on Main St. Sponsored by Fields Land Rover of Waukesha, the show will feature only British cars, trucks and motorcycles. Admission is charged; kids get in free. This event, held each year on Father’s Day, benefits Children’s Hospital of Milwaukee, Scouting America and area high school auto tech programs. Saturday, June 28 – MKE Racing Cars and Charity, sponsored by Kunes Buick GMC of Greenfield, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Greenfield Salvation Army, 2900 W. Cold Spring Road, Greenfield. Open to all makes and models. $20 per car or bike, cash only. Free to spectators. Presented by MKE Racing and the Salvation Army. Friday, July 4 – Holz Motors annual 4th of July Car Show from, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 5961 S. 108th Place, Hales Corners. Open to all makes and models 2005 and older plus specialty, muscle cars and late model exotics at dealer’s discretion.  Free for spectators. Saturday, July 12  – Schlossmann Honda City’s Cars & Coffee MKE will be held from 8 to 10:30 a.m. at the dealership, 3450 S. 108th St., Greenfield. Sunday, July 20 – 44th Annual All-Ford Roundup at Soerens Ford, 18900 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the Wisconsin Ford Club. Saturday, Aug. 23 – Sussex Area Service Club’s Big Engine Show from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Sussex Village Park, W244 N6125 Weaver Dr., Sussex, sponsored by Boucher Automotive Group. Sunday, Aug. 24 – 20th Annual Tichigan Lake Wisconsin Annual Lions Charity Car Show from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Waterford Town Park, 8422 Jensen Parkway, Waterford. Sponsored by Kunes Buick GMC of Greenfield, the show is open to all makes and models and is free to spectators. It benefits the Lions Club and a local family going through a hardship.
