Car Show Calender

          Summer’s almost here! One way of celebrating is to participate in or attend local car shows. Fortunately, there are dealer-sponsored vintage and classic car shows almost every week. Many are favorites that are held annually, but this year there are some new ones, too! Old or new, the shows attract those who bring their cars to show them off and others who attend to observe, reminisce and ask questions.

​          Interested? Here is a list of the shows currently being planned that are sponsored by ADAMM friends and member dealerships. This list will update as shows are added or canceled throughout the summer.

Sunday, May 26 – Toyota of Brookfield Summer Car Meet Kickoff and Donation Drive from noon to 3 p.m. at Toyota of Brookfield, 20655 W. Capitol Dr. See unique vehicles and enjoy free music, food and entry into the event, plus an opportunity to donate to the Salvation Army. ​Saturday, June 1 – MATC Campus Car Show from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Oak Creek Campus, 6665 S. Howell Ave. with a D.J. and food trucks. Free for spectators. www.matccarshow.com

Saturday, June 1 – MKE Racing Cars and Charity Show, sponsored by Kunes Buick GMC of Greenfield, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 2900 W. Cold Spring Road, Greenfield. Open to all makes and models. $20 per car or bike, cash only. Presented by MKE Racing and the Salvation Army. For information, call Bill Ederer at (414) 482-6246.Cash only event; rain date June 15. 

Saturday, June 8 – Schlossmann Honda City’s Cars and Coffee will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. at the dealership, 3450 S. 108th St. All makes and models are welcome at this show, which is free to all. For information, contact Tracy at (414) 328-3500. This event will be held each month into fall. Future dates are July 13, Aug. 10, Sept. 14 and Oct. 12. 

Sunday, June 16 – 43rd Annual British Car Field Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sussex Village Park on Main St. Sponsored by Fields Land Rover of Waukesha, the show will feature only British cars, trucks and motorcycles. Admission is charged; kids get in free. The event is a benefit for Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and the Boy Scouts of America. For information, go to www.britishcarfieldday.org. 

Saturday, June 22 – Uptown Presents Car Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Uptown Motorcars, 1101 E. Commerce Blvd., Slinger. Open to all makes and models. Free to spectators. For information, contact the dealership, (262) 644-8800. 

Thursday, July 4 – Holz Motors annual Car Show from, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 5961 S. 108th Place, Hales Corners. Open to all makes and models, 2005 and older, plus specialty and muscle cars. Free for spectators. For information, go to holzmotors.com

Sunday, July 7 – Toyota of Brookfield’s Dog Days of Summer Car Meet and Donation Drive from noon to 3 p.m. at Toyota of Brookfield, 20655 W. Capitol Dr. See unique vehicles and enjoy free music, food and entry into the event, plus an opportunity to donate to the Elmbrook Humane Society. Check the event’s Facebook page

Saturday, July 13 – Schlossmann Honda City’s Cars and Coffee will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. at the dealership, 3450 S. 108th St. All makes and models are welcome at this show, which is free to all. Sunday, July 21 – 43nd Annual All-Ford Roundup at Soerens Ford, 18900 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the Wisconsin Ford Club. Sunday, Aug. 18 – 41st Annual All-Corvette Show with registration starting at 8 a.m. at Heiser Chevrolet, 10200 W. Arthur Ave., West Allis. Corvettes only, with the Badger State Vettes. Partial proceeds donated to Camp Hometown Heroes, a non-profit organization providing hope and healing to children and families of those who lost a loved one who served our country. 

Saturday, Aug 24 – Muskego Corvette Club’s 32nd Annual Car Show from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Richlonn’s Tire & Auto, S78 W18755 Janesville Road, Muskego. Saturday, Aug. 24 – Sussex Area Service Club’s Big Engine Show from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Sussex Village Park, W244 N6125 Weaver Dr., Sussex, sponsored by Boucher Automotive Group. Sunday, Aug. 25 – Tichigan Lake Wisconsin Annual Lions Charity Car Show from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Waterford Town Park, 8422 Jensen Parkway, Waterford. Sponsored by Kunes Buick GMC of Greenfield, the show is open to all makes and models. It benefits a local family going through hardship and helps offset medical bills. Saturday, Sept. 7 – The first ever My Wheels Car Show is planned from noon to 4 p.m. at 9075 N. Regent Road, Bayside. Sponsored by Sommer’s Automotive, the show is open to all makes and models.
